Shoot Six - Work Record

Inspiration
I got the inspiration for this shoot from the previous shoot as I felt the idea would be best done as a location shoot. I also took influence from photographers such as Sam Taylor-Wood, Phillip Dame and Dan Lester
who look at using illusion in there work.

What I did
In this shoot I set the camera up on a tripod in my garden and put a seat in the centre of the shot. I then alternated with taking photographs with e on and off the seat in order to create the desired effect when editing. I then uploaded them and edited them n photoshop to make it look as if there was not chair there in the first place, and I am floating.

How I would improve

To improve this shoot I would create even more different poses on the bench so that it looks more interesting and effective. I would also use a background that is more visually attractive to add more to the photographs.

My Work
I think this photograph works well because the disappearance of my set and head are obvious which makes an interesting photograph. I think the composition and lighting in this photograph also work really well. To improve I would consider just removing the head as the feet take away from that a bit.
I am really pleased with this photograph because it actually gives the illusion that I am floating. Once again I was pleased with the composition and lighting. To improve I would consider standing to give a different effect or using a different location that is more interesting.
What I will do next
I feel that the idea of illusion has worked well however I have decided that I will look at something slightly different in my next shoot. What I would like to try next time is using photoshop to edit normal portraiture photographs in a slightly different way that I have before.
